Yesterday, June 19, 2025, the Faculty of Biology of the University of Bucharest hosted with excitement and joy the graduation ceremony of the students from the master’s programs – class 2025. The event took place in the Botanical Garden “Dimitrie Brândză” in Bucharest, bringing together graduates, parents, friends and teachers in a solemn and festive atmosphere.
The ceremony was opened by the dean, Prof. Dr. Liliana Burlibașa, who delivered a warm message of encouragement to the entire class. This was followed by the speeches of the faculty’s vice-deans who emphasized the role of future graduates in a changing world. During the festivities, several teachers spoke moving words, reflecting on the personal and professional development of the students during their years of study, as well as the bonds of collegiality and mentoring that have been formed. Graduate representatives also delivered speeches full of gratitude and hope, recalling the challenges and successes encountered throughout their academic journey.
The most eagerly awaited moment was the handing over of the symbolic diplomas, to the applause of those present. The emotion was felt by the graduates, their families and teachers. Finally, the graduates marked the end of an important stage in their educational journey by throwing tokens in a symbolic gesture of joy and fulfillment.
The Faculty of Biology congratulates all the graduates of the Master’s programs – class 2025 – and wishes them every success in their professional careers, in whatever field they choose, with the conviction that they will always remain part of our academic community.
