Description:

Many funding calls call for interdisciplinary teams. Writing these applications involves navigating complex dynamics, including deciding how to build or rebuild the team, thinking about how to best leverage collective expertise, and conveying the team’s strengths in the application.

This hybrid session will explore approaches to interdisciplinary working and grant writing, drawing on the experiences of researchers who have worked successfully on interdisciplinary projects. It is open to all PGR staff and students at the University of Glasgow who wish to reflect on how they might approach interdisciplinary grant writing now or in the future.

This session is the second in a series of three roundtables on interdisciplinary grant writing, co-organized by Dr. Madeleine Beveridge and Dr. Rachel Chin. The session speakers will be:

Prof. Peter MacPherson (Professor of Global Public Health and Head of the Department of Public Health in the School of Health and Wellbeing) and Dr. Michelle Bloor (Senior Lecturer in Environmental Science and Risk, School of Environmental and Social Sustainability).

Thank you for your interest and we wish you every success in your application.
