BIOCHEMISTRY AND MOLECULAR BIOLOGY MASTER

MISSION:
The mission of this research master’s program is to train specialists in biochemistry, molecular biology and biomedical sciences through an educational program that combines advanced theoretical knowledge with practical experience in modern laboratories. The program contributes to the development of fundamental and applied research, preparing graduates for careers in academia, research institutes or industry.
SCOP:
The aim of this degree program is to provide graduates with a solid multidisciplinary training in biochemistry and molecular biology, developing the necessary skills for integration into the labor market or for further studies at doctoral level. The program promotes technology transfer and collaboration with industry, facilitating the application of knowledge in areas such as medicine, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology.
OBJECTIVE:
- To deepen fundamental and applied knowledge in biochemistry, molecular biology and genetics;
- Developing research skills in modern laboratories;
- Train the skills needed to analyze, interpret and validate experimental data;
- Preparation for work in research institutes, biomedical laboratories, pharmaceutical and biotech companies;
- Promoting an interdisciplinary learning environment and international collaboration.

- Analyzing and interpreting results from research and biomedical laboratories;
- Development and optimization of analytical and experimental methods;
- Implementation of advanced molecular biology, biochemistry and genetics techniques;
- Ensuring quality control and internal audit in biomedical laboratories;
- Application of biotechnology principles in innovative product development.
Transversal skills:
- Ability to document, analyze and integrate information from literature;
- Developing critical thinking and complex problem solving skills;
- Use specific computer applications for analyzing biological data;
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and manage projects effectively;
