We are pleased to announce that ICUB has launched the AI4UB initiative, dedicated to the future of academia in the age of artificial intelligence, where we have prepared a series of events and meetings.
We are sending you all the details with an invitation to participate and with the request to disseminate them among your colleagues and students.
The UB community, invited to participate in the events of the AI4UBinitiative, dedicated to the academic future in the era of artificial intelligence, launched by ICUB
Since May 1, 2025, Research Institute of the University of Bucharest (ICUB) launches AI4UB: Initiative for Excellence in Artificial Intelligence, an ongoing strategic program that focuses on education, research and interdisciplinary collaboration in AI.
Aimed at students, teachers and researchers from the University of Bucharest community, the initiative AI4UBcomes as a direct response to the need for integration of expertise in emerging technologies and the need for a coordinated national response to Romania’s vulnerabilities in the field of AI.
In a European context in which AI is becoming a research and development priority, the University of Bucharest is assuming the role of catalyst for the transformation of the academic environment in this regard. Being aware of the growing challenges in the field, we are trying to come up with sustainable solutions such as the AI4UBinitiative, which aims to pave the way for a new way of learning, research and collaboration.

– Experimental, collaborative and exploratory summer schools, organized by ICUB in partnership with ENDAVA and „Gheorghe Lazăr” National High School.

Through AI4UB, the Research Institute of the University of Bucharest and the University of Bucharest propose a real change: from adaptation to academic leadership in the AI era.
